Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate effective communication between hearing‑impaired students and their peers, educators, and school staff using American Sign Language (ASL). Interpret classroom instruction, school activities, and events accurately and confidentially. Collaborate with teachers and support staff to accommodate the educational needs of deaf and hard‑of‑hearing students. Assist in promoting an inclusive classroom environment by fostering understanding and awareness of deaf culture. Maintain professional ethics, confidentiality, and consistent readiness to meet daily school demands. Qualifications and Experience:
Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) with demonstrated experience in educational settings. Previous experience working with K‑12 student populations preferred.
