About the Role We’re hiring an Associate Software Automation Engineer to support client delivery across Microsoft Power Platform and Azure-based solutions. You will report directly to a Project Manager, providing clear technical direction and mentorship while you focus on execution.

What You’ll Be Responsible For Power Platform Development (Primary Focus)

Own the implementation of assigned features, enhancements, and fixes using:

Power Apps (Canvas & Model-Driven)

Power Automate

Power BI

Dataverse

Build solutions that are maintainable, readable, and production-ready

Iterate quickly based on feedback from internal reviews and client testing

Client Intake & Discovery Support

Participate in discovery and intake calls led by the PM/Senior Engineer

Proactively surface:

Edge cases

Data limitations

Integration risks

Translate business requirements into clear technical tasks

Data & Integrations

Work with SQL-backed data sources (Azure SQL, SQL Server)

Implement and extend integrations using APIs and established patterns

Perform data transformations using Power Query and SQL as needed

Azure & AI Exposure

Implement and extend AI-enabled features using Azure AI services under guidance

Support automation scenarios such as document processing, summarization, and classification

Follow responsible AI and governance standards in enterprise environments

Quality & Delivery

Test your work thoroughly before review or UAT

Debug issues independently before escalating

Maintain clear documentation for apps, flows, and deployments

Communicate progress, risks, and blockers proactively

What Strong Candidates Already Know How to Do Successful candidates will already be comfortable with most of the following:

Building non-trivial Power Apps (multi-screen, role-aware, connected to real data)

Creating Power Automate flows with conditions, error handling, and approvals

Working with Dataverse or SQL-backed data models

Reading API documentation and implementing integrations with guidance

Debugging issues independently and explaining root causes clearly

Taking ownership of assigned work and seeing it through to completion

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent practical experience

Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform

Working knowledge of SQL and relational data concepts

Familiarity with APIs and external system integrations

Strong attention to detail and execution mindset

Comfortable working in a delivery-oriented, client-facing environment

Authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorship

Nice to Have (Not Required)

Experience with Azure Functions, Logic Apps, or Azure SQL

Exposure to Azure AI, OpenAI, or LLM-based workflows

Microsoft Power Platform or Azure certifications

Prior consulting or client project experience
