Position Type Full‑time | Hourly
Wellspring is a statewide nonprofit dedicated to serving seniors, families, and children throughout Michigan. We are currently seeking a full‑time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Frankenmuth Skilled Nursing and Rehab team. In this position, you'll be directly supporting your community in Saginaw County.
Responsibilities Provide quality nursing care to residents in a manner that promotes their rights, dignity, freedom of choice, and individuality.
Conduct daily resident visits to observe, assess, and document residents’ physical and emotional status.
Communicate effectively and respectfully with residents, families, visitors, peers, supervisors, and interdisciplinary team members.
Keep Nursing Directors informed of residents’ conditions, changes in status, and other relevant clinical information.
Supervise nursing activities on the assigned unit and support staff in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Interpret, implement, and adhere to organizational policies and procedures for personnel, residents, medical staff, and the public.
Respond promptly to resident, family, and staff inquiries within established timeframes and policies.
Follow all safety and infection control protocols, including proper hand hygiene, glove use, and appropriate disposal of soiled materials.
Qualifications Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license issued by the State of Michigan Board of Nursing required.
Successful completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program.
Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience preferred (home health, medical, surgical, or critical care).
Schedule & Compensation Employment type: Full‑time
Schedule: Night Shift, 6:30 pm – 7:00 am
Weekends: Every other weekend rotation required
Pay Rate: $30.40 – $32.90/hour, based on licensure.
Night Shift Differential: $0.50/hour.
