Director Network Operations Market Lead

Join our team as a Director Network Operations Market Lead and make a significant impact on our network infrastructure in the Orlando, Florida area. In this pivotal leadership role, you'll direct all aspects of outside plant engineering, planning, design, and construction activities across your assigned geographical territory.

Purpose: As a Director Network Operations Market Lead, you will oversee all outside plant engineering, planning, design, and construction activities in your assigned market. This supervisory role carries responsibility for strategic direction, resource planning, and market build responsibilities, including team leadership, objective setting, performance management, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the development and execution of long and short-range planning for outside plant infrastructure

Review and approve specific and routine authorizations, including technical plans and specifications

Manage the Outside Plant (OSP) budget and schedule work orders strategically

Negotiate and oversee contracts for outside plant construction engineering and installation/repair

Drive operational effectiveness of OSP facilities related to customer service activation and assurance

Direct and control capital budget allocation for outside plant infrastructure in your market area

Supervise the installation and maintenance of high-speed broadband service through contractor partnerships

Build and develop high-performing teams through effective hiring, training, coaching, and performance management

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Math, Science, or Engineering preferred (or equivalent related network technical experience)

10+ years of relevant industry experience

Minimum 2 years of management responsibility

Strong understanding of telecommunications infrastructure and outside plant operations

Excellent project management and budgeting skills

Proven leadership abilities with experience managing both direct employees and contractor relationships

Work Environment: This hybrid position offers flexibility while maintaining essential on-site presence in Orlando, Florida. You may be responsible for contributing to Gigapower's compliance with environmental laws and regulations applicable to your job function.
