The Global Business Analyst (GBA) provides the key insights and analysis of the racquet sports market and drives recommendations on the opportunities across sports, segments and channels. The Global Business Analyst leads the definition of the data requirements for the understanding of the brand position across the key markets and drives the analytics behind the data provided. He/She determines the biggest opportunities/priorities for the company based on the size of the prize and then works for the Global and Regional Commercial Leaders on defining the action plans to capture the opportunities identified. The GBA is a core partner of the business teams in order to better understand the Wilson SWOT at a category level and/or at a market level. Based on the analysis done, the GBA will provide insights on the best opportunities to focus on. At a market level, the GBA will support the analysis done on the sales fundamentals: price positioning vs competition on base business and promotions, depth of distribution across price points, market share analysis, etc. This role is crucial in helping our organization adapt to changes, make informed decisions, and enhance overall performance. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Assessment of current sources of data, definition of the additional needs Analysis of core market data (market share via TIA, Europe share, Yana-Rakuten,…) and reporting of key trends and learnings by geography Lead the analysis of the Size of the Prize per region/market to drive growth Competitive analysis per segment and definition of Wilson SWOT Generate reports and dashboards that provide meaningful insights for decision-making. Develop and work closely with US Specialty Sales Leads to analyze US Business Trends and Gaps. Work with databases, spreadsheets, and visualization tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, Power BI, SAC, etc) to ensure data accuracy and usability. Recommendation of the key business actions to be taken across business functions to best drive market share gains and topline growth Support the Merchandising Team in the definition of the needs towards the different functions in the organization (marketing, supply,…) Regularly update stakeholders on project progress, insights, and any changes to the project scope or timeline. Prepare and deliver presentations or reports to management on findings, project status, and proposed solutions. What We're Looking For
This position requires a bachelor's degree in Business, Information systems, Management or Analytics connected to a business environment, and at least 3-5 years of experience in a similar role driving analytics, process improvements and actions. Other qualifications include: A proven track record in transforming data into action towards business teams Strong analytical and Excel skills Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Excel) and familiarity with visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). Solid understanding of business processes and project management principles Ability to work at a fast pace and under pressure Ability to influence and build strong working relationships Strong communication/ influencing skills to manage key stakeholders Strong planning, prioritizing and organizational skills Proactive / out of the box thinking What We'll Provide A reasonable estimate of the
pay range is $75,000 - $100,000 per year
at the time of this posting. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, education, and/or training.Please note that the range details reflect the base pay only and does not include our competitive bonus program.
