The Territory Sales Representative will be responsible for building and maintaining client relationships, driving sales, and achieving revenue growth within the assigned territory. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include identifying potential customers, managing existing accounts, providing product recommendations, and collaborating with team members to develop strategic sales plans. The role also involves staying informed about industry trends and product knowledge to meet customer needs effectively. This is a full‑time, outside sales position. The two territories are: Winston‑Salem/Roanoke and Columbia/Greenville. Qualifications
Sales and customer relationship management skills, including developing customer accounts, negotiating contracts, and meeting sales targets. Knowledge of flooring products such as commercial resilient floor coverings, hardwood flooring, and moisture remediation systems, or an ability to rapidly learn about the industry and product offerings. Strong communication and presentation skills to convey product features and solutions effectively to customers and stakeholders. Problem‑solving and strategic planning abilities to identify opportunities and achieve sales objectives efficiently. Organizational skills and a results‑oriented mindset suited for managing schedules and driving consistent revenue growth. Experience in the flooring or construction industry is highly desirable but not required. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field is a plus. Proficient in using sales software, CRM platforms, and other tools to track performance and maintain customer records. Ability to work independently in an on‑site role and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
