JOB SUMMARY The Gastrointestinal Cancer division of the Simmons Cancer Center is looking to hire a full time project manager of clinical research. The Project Manager will assist the GI Clinical research manager with study start‑up activities, and also general study maintenance – including: PRMC/IRB and FDA submissions. This role will also be a collaboration with the GI regulatory associate(s) to ensure that trainings and other documents are completed as required. BENEFITS

Required

Education Bachelor's Degree in a related field Experience 5 years of experience in clinical research, including at least 3 years of experience in project management which may include management of specific clinical trials or clinical trials‑related programs and 1 year of experience in managing Oncology clinical trials or programs. May consider additional years of experience in lieu of education. Preferred

For new projects or programs, define project/program scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with the Manager, CRO Operations and Associate Director of the CRO; develop project plans, timelines, and associated communications documents; clearly and timely communicate project expectations to team members and management. Estimate resources and participants needed to achieve project/program goals, and secure buy‑in from necessary participants. Set and continually manage project/program expectations with team members and other principals; delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel; identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team or program; identify and manage related issues. Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools; track project milestones and deliverables; develop and deliver progress reports. Compose, edit, or delegate responsibilities to create policy, procedure, and form documents based on project outcomes. Align business processes with systems changes and provide a mechanism to deliver information to staff and/or faculty as necessary. Develop best practices and tools for project/program execution and management. May supervise staff in performance of duties. Performs other duties as assigned. SECURITY AND EEO STATEMENT
