First Bank of the Lake The Loan Operations Quality Control Manager is responsible for overseeing the accuracy, compliance, and efficiency of all loan operations activities, including data input and post-origination changes. This role conducts audits and reviews to ensure adherence to internal policies, investor guidelines, and regulatory requirements. The manager identifies process gaps, implements corrective actions, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to maintain high operational standards. Additionally, they provide training, support audits, and deliver regular reporting to senior management on quality control, performance and risks. The Loan Operations Quality Control Manager will bring deep knowledge of loan products, banking regulations and quality assurance methodologies. Job Functions

Ensure completeness and accuracy of data quality and adherence to policies, procedures, and regulations. Develop, implement, and manage quality control programs and procedures for all loan operations functions. Conduct regular reviews and audits of loan files to ensure adherence to company policies, investor guidelines, and regulatory requirements. Perform input reviews to verify the accuracy and completeness of data entered into Fiserv, ensuring data integrity throughout the loan lifecycle. Oversee and perform change reviews to validate the accuracy of post-origination changes, including loan modifications, payment changes, escrow updates, or other loan servicing adjustments. Identify operational weaknesses or compliance gaps and recommend corrective actions or process improvements. Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including Compliance, Risk, Underwriting, and Servicing to address and remediate QC findings. Maintain detailed records of QC findings and remediation actions. Prepare and deliver regular reports and metrics to senior management on QC performance, trends, and risks. Stay up to date with regulatory and industry changes that impact loan operations and implement necessary updates to policies and procedures. Train and mentor team members on QC standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices. Participate in internal and external audits and serve as a subject matter expert for loan operations quality control. Must complete all required training, including Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-money Laundering training, suitable to their position within the bank. Education/Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field, or equivalent work experience. 5+ years of experience in loan operations, with at least 2 years in a quality control or compliance-related role. Prior management or team leadership experience preferred. Skills And Competencies

Strong knowledge of residential or commercial loan products and applicable regulatory requirements. Experience with loan origination systems (LOS), document management systems, and audit tools. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present findings clearly and concisely. High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Experience with Fiserv Premier Navigator. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, regulated environment. Ability to work independently and serve as a resource for other team members. Physical Requirements

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times. Work Arrangement
