Overview Merrill Wealth Management is a leading provider of comprehensive wealth‑management and investment products. The Advisor Development Program (ADP) offers a structured career path: start as a Wealth Management Client Associate—Advisor Development Program (WMCA‑ADP), complete required securities licences (SIE, Series 7, Series 66), gain client‑service experience, and then transition to a Financial Advisor trainee.

Key Responsibilities

Provide client‑service support to multiple Financial Advisors, serving as their primary point of contact within Merrill.

Assist with SIE, Series 7, and Series 66 exam preparation, ensuring completion within 120 days.

Help manage client documentation, ensuring timeliness, accuracy, and compliance with bank policies.

Participate in client‑advocacy initiatives and contribute to business‑development efforts, such as prospect sourcing, referrals, and customized solution recommendations.

Support operational excellence objectives and collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Client Relationship Managers, Market Supervision Managers).

Progress through program milestones, eventually building a book of business as a Financial Advisor trainee.

Qualifications – Required

Self‑starter with confidence in a sales role.

Strong client‑relationship building and persuasive communication skills.

Proactive, organized, and results‑driven mindset.

Ability to learn rapidly, listen, and probe for clarity.

Entrepreneurial approach, sourcing clients through prospecting and networking.

Computer literacy, proficiency in Microsoft Suite.

Qualifications – Desired

Bachelor’s degree or at least one year of work experience.

Adaptability to new technology and applications.

Capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
