Project Manager – Senior ERP Systems Integration Project Manager This position is for a Senior Project Manager (PM3) to assist the State of Michigan Project Management Office supporting Michigan Department of Treasury with a multi‑year high‑priority project. As part of the DTMB Enterprise Portfolio Management Office (EPMO), the role works closely with DTMB Agency Services technical teams and agency executives/stakeholders in delivering Treasury’s City Tax Modernization.
The candidate must be comfortable working in a fast‑paced, multi‑vendor deployment supporting a hybrid workforce (combination of on‑site and remote work) at all levels of the organization. Applicants should possess exceptional communication and follow‑up skills along with significant experience in formal IT project management. The position requires the PM to be working in person two days a week and three days remote.
Senior ERP Systems Integration Project Manager Responsibilities

Oversee technical teams with system architecture and integration across SaaS solutions.
Developed and maintained detailed project integration schedules over 5,000+ lines.
Prior developer or senior technical project management experience.
Basic Duties
Utilize the State of Michigan’s Project Portfolio Management Tool (Clarity) to prepare project schedules, assign resources and manage budgets.
Prepare information for presentations for various audiences ranging from executives, managers and project team members.
Accountable for monitoring, controlling, and communicating project progress by actively managing cost, schedule, scope, resources, quality, and risks.
Responsible for clear, timely, and accurate communication of project status to stakeholders, including project sponsors, team members, program managers, and MGCB/DTMB management.
Provide leadership and foster collaborative participation between technical and business teams by obtaining consensus and gaining commitment.
Develop and maintain SUITE Project Management Methodology (PMM) deliverables throughout the project lifecycle: Project Charter, Schedule, Budget, Communication Plan, Status Report, Risk and Issue Management Plans, Change Requests, Project Close‑out Summary.
Manage interface communication with other agencies.
Ensure the project adheres to SUITE PMM and System Engineering Methodology (SEM) with appropriate transitions through all project lifecycle phases.
Facilitate and enforce the Change Management process; ensure all change requests receive appropriate approval before action or information updates.
Create corrective action plans (CAP) when projects enter yellow or red status.
Understand project benefits and the impact of change requests on benefit business cases; keep related artifacts updated.
Review vendor contracts to actively manage vendor deliverables and adherence to delivery approval procedures.
Facilitate stakeholder interactions by clarifying expectations and ensuring deliverables are assigned, reviewed, and completed.
Qualifications Required / Desired Experience
