Job Description This position will serve as the Operations Branch Manager for the Overdose Response Center (ORC). The Overdose Response Center is the division’s near real-time data analytics and deployment/operations center for responding to the opioid/overdose crisis statewide.
Outreach and partner teams are deployed by the ORC 7-days a week to engage and support communities through targeted outreach at the neighborhood level, and ultimately with specific individuals.
Additionally, deployment plans will be made with partner agencies and other community deployable assets.
Primary Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day supervision for ORC Operations Branch Staff (including Planners and Data/Intelligence Analysts).
Establishment of ORC processes and procedures with leadership.
Development and finalization of weekly Deployment Orders and Response Plans for PORT and other deployable assets.
Assisting in data analysis and decision making to create deployment orders and response plans, -Compiling and submitting the weekly briefing plan, including all deployment plans, and other reports as requested by leadership.
Investigate planning/deployment concerns and recommend solutions to the ORC Director for ORC operations.
Other duties as assigned to assist ORC operations and overdose response efforts.
Minimum Qualification
Knowledge/understanding of emergency or response planning.
Multi-agency coordination.
