Job Title: Buyer I
What You'll Do
As a Buyer I, you will be responsible for releasing and delivering purchase orders for raw material and production support activities on time. You'll be responsible for resolving any procurement, quality, invoice, and inventory-related issues, including appropriate SAP transactions. Part consumption behavior and other parts characteristic analysis will be crucial components for this position. Interface with customer service, internal and external suppliers, Product Engineering, and Production is critical to ensure a high level of support to satisfy the customer.
Required Qualifications 1-3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or a related role.
Knowledge of procurement processes and best practices. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.
Preferred Skills
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
Experience with procurement software or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
Familiarity with contract management principles.
Knowledge of supply chain logistics and inventory management.
Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
