Job Description Salary: $33.00 - $38.00 / Hour

SureSite Consulting Group, LLC provides complete infrastructure deployment services through its teams of real estate, planning, and engineering, environmental, project management and construction management experts.

We are currently looking for a Construction Field Technician III / Foreman to be responsible for network element deployment during the telecom implementation (TI) phase of the project. The Construction Field Technician III / Foreman will run a 2- or 3-crew that performs hardware delivery and installation of the product. They will ensure all work is completed to the satisfaction of the customer in accordance with defined specifications and technical standards, and that health, safety and quality requirements are maintained at the highest levels throughout the implementation cycle.

Essential Functions

Hardware Installation Management (40%) – Lead and manage multiple crews installing, erecting, maintaining, repairing, removing, or retrofitting towers and rooftop antenna systems. Perform third‑party inspections.

Hardware Commissioning (10%) – Commission hardware in accordance with contractual shares, specifications and quality requirements; document progress.

Documentation (20%) – Log all installation, test, closeout and inspection results; report crew hours.

Quality (20%) – Assist in escalating QA deficiencies to the Construction Field Manager.

Fault and Discrepancy Reporting (10%) – Manage commissioning kit contents; document and report equipment and material shortages.

Job Requirements

At least five years of wireless industry experience.

Job‑related certifications: safety, rescue, CPR, etc.

High School Diploma/GED or higher.

Anritzu / PIM / fiber testing certification.

Connector certification (Andrew, PPC, CommScope, etc.).

Previous experience working as a tower climber or in man lifts.

Computer skills and knowledge of SWEEP and PIM equipment.

Basic architecture of GSM, UMTS and LTE.

Ability to review and fix discrepancies.

Understanding of basic RF design for sites.

RFDS knowledge.

Fabrication skills for tower hardware and accessories.

Leadership skills and continuous improvement mindset.

Basic RF and grounding safety standards.

Good communication skills.

Good English speaking and writing skills.

Reports to: Field Construction Manager.

Supervises: Construction Field Technician I and II crew(s).

Other Duties

Work occasionally under adverse conditions (high towers, inclement weather, remote sites).

Transport required equipment and materials to remote locations using company vehicles.

In‑depth understanding of telecommunications hardware installation and tower support.

Maintain constant communication with team and customer to understand project requirements.

Work well in a team environment and with a diverse group of people.

Strong positive attitude toward customer service and diplomacy in issue resolution.

Overtime required as needed.

Lift 50 lbs of equipment.

Work for long periods in a strong RF environment area.

Work during maintenance window hours (9:00 pm to 6:00 am).

Job’s normal work environment involves physical risks and hazardous conditions.

Use standard installation equipment for cell sites (power tools, DC crimpers, thermoweld, hand tools, etc.).

Work aloft on cell towers, either in a man‑lift or climbing.
