Employment Type: Part time Shift: Day Shift (Mon, Tue, Thu 8a-4:30p; flexible scheduling) Position Summary

Performs administrative tasks to support quality patient care in collaboration with the Registered Nurse. Duties include typing and PC applications, filing, business machine functions, telephone and written communications, and assisting in the facilitation of quality patient care. Responsibilities

High school graduate or equivalent; business school or formal secretarial training a plus. One to two years’ minimum experience preferred; patient care experience, mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity preferred. BLS/CPR certification and first aid training required. Participation in orientation, annual competencies, continuing education and updates as applicable. Special Equipment, Skills or Other Requirements

PC and software knowledge; office equipment and supplies. Understanding of department related terminology. Good communication skills both oral and written, interpersonal skills, customer service oriented. Work Environment and Hazards

Office/Clinical setting. Exposure to blood, body fluids, excretions or secretions. Physical Demands

Light to medium work. Requires standing, walking, sitting, lifting, pulling, pushing, carrying. Pay Range

$17.86-25.00 per hour. Pay based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. Pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location. Commitment
