Part-Time - 10 Month Classroom Paraprofessional - Title I Reading Support (K-3)

The Dallastown Area School District seeks a Part‑Time, 10‑Month Classroom Paraprofessional – Title I Reading Support for Dallastown Elementary School.
This role aids the Reading Specialist in delivering supports and services to students.
Responsibilities
Work with small groups of students as directed by the Reading Specialist.
Assist in student supervision.
Help in the presentation and development of learning materials and instructional exercises.
Perform routine clerical work.
Operate instructional media, office machines, and equipment.
Work Schedule / Pay Periods Full‑day hours: approximately 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM (5.5 hours with a 30‑minute unpaid lunch).
Work schedule and pay follow student attendance full and half days during the school year (≈177 days from mid‑August to early June). Additional days may be arranged by supervisor.
No pay periods July–August; you enjoy summers off.
Bi‑weekly pays start mid‑September and continue through late June.
