As we scale, we’re seeking a strategic and hands‑on Referral Partnerships Lead to build and scale our referral partner channel, with a focus on HR consulting firms, PEOs, and insurance brokerages. This is a mission‑critical role that will be responsible for developing a partner ecosystem that generates a consistent flow of qualified leads, pipeline, and revenue. The Referral Partnerships role combines strategy development, partner acquisition, and hands‑on execution. You’ll work cross‑functionally with sales and marketing to ensure referral partners are acquired, enabled, and incentivized to drive growth.
This is a 100% remote position- now & forever What You’ll Do:
Build and own the referral partnership strategy aligning it with company revenue goals
Collaborate with executive leadership on partnership forecasts, OKRs, & growth plans
Source, engage, and close new referral partners with high revenue potential
Develop compelling value propositions tailored to each partner segment
Lead negotiations and contract execution with legal and finance
Build scalable onboarding frameworks & documentation to ensure partner enablement
Build and maintain trusted, long‑term relationships with key partner stakeholder
Develop systems for ongoing partner communication, performance tracking, & support
Align with Sales to ensure referral leads are qualified, well‑tracked, & properly attributed
Work with Marketing to co‑develop campaigns, content, and partner messaging
What you’ll Bring:
5+ years in B2B partnership development, business development, or channel sales
Proven success building and scaling referral or channel partner programs from zero
Deep knowledge of HR tech, insurance, benefits administration, or PEO ecosystems
Strong understanding of SaaS economics and sales cycles, including partner‑influenced deals
Experience negotiating and managing complex partnership agreements
Exceptional relationship‑building and communication skills
Proficient in CRM and partner management tools (e.g., Salesforce, Hubspot)
Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑growth, and highly collaborative environment
Data‑driven decision maker with strong analytical capabilities
Success in This Role:
Launching a fully operational referral partner program within 6 months
Establishing 50+ high‑quality referral partnerships within the first year
Creating a scalable playbook for partner onboarding, enablement, & performance tracking
Driving considerable impact on pipeline and revenue through partner‑sourced deals
