Job Summary The
Journey Project Manager
is a fully qualified, career-oriented senior‑level role responsible for the end‑to‑end delivery of high‑visibility, multi‑year projects. This position supports a recently launched Innovation Accelerator focused on solving complex challenges related to energy efficiency, grid modernization, electrification, and customer experience. Reporting under general direction, the Project Manager exercises independent judgment and serves as the single point of contact for assigned projects. The role requires advanced project management expertise, strong communication skills, and experience within the
energy or utility sector . The Project Manager will support the Alpha project, developing an advanced energy load management device through 2026.
Key Responsibilities
Apply and adapt
journey‑level project management techniques
to complex and evolving initiatives
Lead projects that may be loosely defined and require creative or innovative approaches
Develop and obtain commitment on detailed work plans, including
schedule, cost, resources, contingency, and communications
Obtain management approvals and ensure complete and accurate project documentation
Identify, analyze, and resolve project performance issues
Manage vendor integration, deliverables, and third‑party relationships
Communicate project status, risks, and milestones to all stakeholders
Conduct
risk assessments
and develop contingency and mitigation plans
Capture and communicate lessons learned and best practices
Ensure project objectives are achievable and aligned with business strategy
Negotiate third‑party contracts in support of internal departments when required
Perform budget tracking, reporting, and compliance activities
