Inventory Clerk – Manufacturing / Aerospace

Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Clerk with hands-on experience in a manufacturing or aerospace warehouse environment. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, supporting production and shipping needs, and ensuring compliance with quality and traceability requirements. The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable working with numbers, and experienced in regulated manufacturing environments.
Key Responsibilities
Receive, issue, and track raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods
Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory systems and Excel spreadsheets
Perform cycle counts and physical inventories, investigating and resolving discrepancies
Support production by staging materials and ensuring timely availability of parts
Verify part numbers, quantities, lot numbers, and certifications per quality requirements
Ensure inventory processes comply with AS9100 standards and internal procedures
Coordinate with purchasing, production, and shipping teams to maintain inventory accuracy
Maintain organized storage areas and proper labeling for traceability
Prepare inventory reports and assist with audits as needed
Required Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of inventory experience in an aerospace and/or manufacturing warehouse environment
At least 2 years working within an AS9100-regulated environment
Strong working knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office (data entry, tracking, reporting)
Solid understanding of basic math, counting, and unit measurements
Experience handling inventory documentation, travelers, and certifications
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Preferred Skills
Experience with ERP or inventory management systems
Familiarity with aerospace materials, part traceability, and quality documentation
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing setting
Work Environment

Requires standing, walking, and occasional lifting of materials
