ABB . This position sits within ABB's Robotics business and supports regional and global sourcing initiatives. It is a hybrid work opportunity based in Auburn Hills, MI, reporting to the Supply Chain Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Execute strategies to optimize cost, quality, and supplier reliability for products and materials.
Design and implement effective local sourcing strategies to achieve business targets and future requirements.
Lead cost‑saving projects to meet budget requirements and maintain competitive pricing.
Develop and implement tariff mitigation strategies through supplier diversification, regional sourcing, and cost optimization initiatives.
Apply and maintain procurement tools, processes, and standards to ensure compliance and performance in quality, delivery, cost, and sustainability.
Collaborate with global and local category teams to ensure sourcing strategies meet business needs.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required, with a focus on Supply Chain preferred.
Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement sourcing, new vendor launch, local sourcing for tariff tasks, and introduction of new projects to a U.S. factory.
Experience in technical sourcing and mechanical procurement within global companies.
Preferred working experience with SAP or equivalent ERP systems.
