Job Title Customer Service Specialist – DSV Air & Sea – Fontana, CA, United States

Job Overview The Customer Service Specialist (CSR) works closely with clients and internal teams to ensure accurate, timely data entry and order processing. The CSR builds trust with clients through exceptional service and supports the efficient operation of the site.

Key Responsibilities

Build rapport and trust with Clients by delivering consistent, high‑quality service.

Accurately enter and update shipping and receiving information for single and multiple customers.

Process and input customer orders, run shipments from WMS, generate related paperwork, and ensure invoices are correct.

Respond to all client inquiries and complaints courteously and efficiently.

Coordinate inbound and outbound activities for assigned accounts, ensuring service standards are met.

Assist with forklift operation, certification, and complete production and payroll hours capture.

Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory records; reconcile counts with packing lists and purchase orders.

Mentor and train new and existing associates on standard operating procedures and distribution activities.

Participate in safety programs, hazardous communications, and emergency response training.

Assist in maintaining a clean, organized work environment and oversee warehouse inventories.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.

1 year experience in a customer service‑related capacity.

Intermediate computer skills; proficiency with MS Office applications and WMS functions.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to perform tasks with minimal supervision.

Effective communication skills and the ability to adapt to change in a fast‑paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

1 year experience with customer invoicing.

2–3 years experience in customer service.

3–5 years experience in manufacturing, distribution, or logistics.

3–5 years of basic math computation experience.

Physical Demands Occasional handling/fingering, frequent bending, constant walking and standing. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 21–50 pounds; reach above shoulder and outward, squat or kneel.
