Quality Improvement Facilitator II

Responsibilities
Plan, organize, facilitate, and lead quality improvement (QI) projects, partnering with front‑line leaders, external partners, and organizational teams.
Apply system design, project management, and continuous quality improvement techniques such as brainstorming, cause and effect analysis, root cause analysis, and data analysis to support QI initiatives.
Support IEHP’s strategic priorities, including HEDIS, CAHPS, NCQA accreditation, and other quality program goals.
Guide teams through the development, implementation, and oversight of QI program activities, ensuring alignment with IEHP’s mission and values.
Qualifications
Minimum of four (4) years of professional experience in process or project management, including participation in quality improvement projects or operations.
Preferred experience in a health care setting.
Master’s degree (preferably in Public Health, Health Administration, Public Administration, or a related health care field) from an accredited institution.
Preferred certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Professional of Healthcare Quality (CPHQ), or other recognized quality improvement certificate.
Key Qualifications
Strong working knowledge of healthcare quality performance and measurement sets, including CMS quality withhold, Managed Care Accountability Set, NCQA Quality Improvement Standards, and HEDIS.
Proficiency in project management techniques, continuous improvement tools, and work process redesign.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with an emphasis on Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and listening) and the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Ability to apply facilitation techniques to quality improvement project teams to achieve optimal outcomes.
Problem solving, conflict management, and team building skills to ensure a productive work environment and achievement of quality goals.
Skilled in reading and interpreting data.
Ability to perform complex tasks, prioritize multiple projects, and work under pressure to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
