Job Description
The Project Manager role supports a broad range of land development and public works initiatives, drawing on experience in site civil design, permitting, and project delivery. The position benefits from strong stormwater and hydrologic/hydraulic expertise to support cross-discipline projects, while remaining flexible in scope and not limited to stormwater-only practice. Required
Bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering, or a related engineering discipline Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the State of Texas, or ability to obtain within 6 months 5–10 years of relevant land development engineering experience in the following areas: Private-sector commercial, residential, and mixed-use land development Preparing engineering reports, civil construction plans, and permitting submittals Coordinating small to mid-sized design teams and managing client interactions Providing land development engineering services in Texas Supporting proposal preparation and fee development Stormwater analysis, site drainage, and civil design standards 3-6 years of project management experience Proficiency with relevant software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D and common hydrologic/hydraulic modeling tools Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a clean driving record; position requires operating a company or personal vehicle during work hours for business‑related travel Preferred Qualifications
Central Texas market experience, particularly the San Antonio and Austin regions Familiarity with local and state permitting agencies and development regulations Experience with proposal writing and client‑facing presentations Experience delivering private site development and public works projects, including street, drainage, and utility design, as stand‑alone assignments or as part of multidisciplinary project teams Additional Information
