Position Summary : The Admissions Enrollment and Data Coordinator is responsible for gathering, processing, and maintaining applicant information to facilitate the admissions process. This position is responsible for managing the flow of admissions data across systems, ensuring accurate and timely integration between multiple systems. This role supports the admissions team by maintaining data integrity, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing processes for efficient enrollment and data management.
Minimum Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent and 2 years of professional experience.
Preferred Qualifications : Master’s degree preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities And/or Competencies :
Excellent customer service and communications skills.
Ability to work as part of a team, work independently, and maintain confidentiality.
Possess strong attention to detail and time management skills.
Ability to accomplish tasks under pressure of deadlines.
Ability to exercise interpersonal skills in establishing and maintaining effective working relations with peers, external contacts, faculty and staff across all levels of the university.
Experience with student information systems (Banner preferred), CRM systems, and admissions databases.
Strong technical skills in data integration, reporting tools, and database management.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Duties/Responsibilities
Data Management & Integration (35%)
Oversee the transfer of applicant data from the admissions database to the Banner system.
Ensure data accuracy and consistency across all platforms.
Develop and maintain workflows for data imports, exports, and updates.
Act as liaison between Admissions, Enterprise Information Technology Services (EITS), Financial Aid, and Registrar’s office.
Manage daily operations of the admissions database, including user access and permissions.
Admissions Process & Operations (30%)
Manage interview management and scheduling.
Implement updates and enhancements to improve functionality and efficiency.
Provide information regarding admission requirements to prospective students.
Support pathway programs as needed.
Reporting & Communication (20%)
Generate reports for admissions leadership and other stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with institutional policies and data security standards.
Maintain documentation of processes and system configurations.
Develop and analyze feedback surveys on the admissions cycle.
Collaboration & Support (15%)
Work closely with admissions staff in planning and staffing events.
Liaise with IT and University systems teams to coordinate integration projects.
Provide training and support for staff on data-related processes.
Represent the office at admissions-related events when needed.
Physical Demands : Standard office environment with majority of work at a desk/computer.
