We are working on a temp to perm merchandise planning role with a top fashion/apparel company in NYC. There are a few open roles covering activewear, apparel outlet and accessories. Role is full time hours in their midtown office. Looking for someone who also has a global or multi-regional experience. Also, needs to have very strong Excel skills.

Annual Salary approximately $90-100K at full time but may go higher - approximately 45-50 an hour.

Responsibilities

Seasonal planning and forecasting

Build planning framework

In season business analysis

Track Margin performance

Product assortments and regional buy support

Product opportunities

Work cross functionally

Sit in on buy meetings

Required Qualifications

3-4 years in a merchandising planning role with experience in global planning or multi regional

Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and business reporting

Ability to synthesize data into clear insights and recommendations

Experience in fashion, lifestyle, or consumer goods preferred

Strong communication and collaboration skills

A global mindset with attention to regional nuance

A balance of analytical rigor and product sensitivity

A proactive, detail -oriented approach to planning and execution
