Inventory Control Supervisor • Chandler, AZ, United States
Monterrey Tile, a leader in the tile and stone industry, is seeking an experienced Inventory Control Supervisor to join our team at our Chandler location.

Key Responsibilities Inventory Management
Oversee daily inventory operations to ensure accurate stock levels.
Manage store inventory, returns and overstock.
Maintain proper inventory records and reconcile discrepancies between physical counts and system records.
Supervisory Duties
Lead and train inventory team members.
Delegate and assign daily inventory cycle counts, stock audits and reporting.
Monitor staff productivity, ensuring adherence to company standards and policies.
Assist with interviewing potential new hires.
Process Improvement
Analyze inventory data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
Develop and implement inventory control processes and strategies to reduce inventory shrinkage, overstock, and stockouts.
Recommend and enforce best practices for inventory management and warehouse operations.
Coordination & Communication
Coordinate with purchasing, operations, and accounting teams to ensure accurate inventory tracking and reporting.
Communicate inventory status, shortages, or surplus items with Operations and Purchasing Manager.
Reporting & Documentation
Prepare inventory reports, including stock levels, discrepancies, and turnover rates.
Maintain compliance with internal policies & audits.
Document and report any inventory discrepancies, losses, or damages to Operations and Purchasing Managers.
Systems & Technology
Utilize inventory management software within ERP system (Epicor P21) to track, process cycle counts and control stock.
Quality & Compliance
Ensure proper storage and handling of all inventories to prevent damage and maintain quality standards.
Follow all safety rules and regulations.
Qualifications
5+ years Inventory Management Experience.
Excellent computer skills & ERP system experience.
Must pass felony background check.
Must be able to lift 75 lbs.
Exhibits strong leadership skills.
Possesses strong organizational skills.
Communicates clearly and effectively.
Works well with a team.
Day shift: Monday - Friday, rotates Saturdays.
Salary: DOE.
