We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Technician to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our food products meet the highest quality and safety standards. This position requires flexibility as you must be willing and available to work any shift. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting food safety and quality research projects, performing quality control checks, and ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) guidelines. Responsibilities

Execute assigned food safety and quality research projects according to established protocols and timelines. Conduct quality control checks on products to ensure compliance with established quality standards. Review and analyze data from quality control checks to identify trends, patterns, and potential areas of improvement. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including production, warehouse, and management, to address quality-related issues and implement corrective actions. Monitor and document adherence to Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) guidelines to maintain consistency in quality processes. Conduct routine inspections of production areas, equipment, and storage facilities to identify any potential food safety hazards. Assist in the development and maintenance of quality assurance documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, and specifications. Participate in internal and external audits, providing necessary support and documentation. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all quality control activities, test results, and inspections. Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices in food safety and quality assurance. Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in food science, quality assurance, or a related field is a plus. Must be able to work second shift hours. Strong understanding of food safety principles and quality control practices. Familiarity with regulatory requirements, such as HACCP, FDA, and USDA guidelines. Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures and protocols. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Proficiency in using computer systems and software for data entry, analysis, and documentation. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Compensation

$19 - $20 hourly
