Required Skills:

• Board certification or eligibility in Maternal Fetal Medicine or Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Proven experience in high-risk obstetric care
• Proficiency in ultrasound imaging, including fetal assessments
• Skilled in performing procedures such as amniocentesis, chorionic villus sampling, and cerclage (preferred)
• Ability to manage complex pregnancies with co-morbidities
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary staff
• Familiarity with EMR systems, preferably EPIC and Viewpoint

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience supervising licensed healthcare providers or APPs
• Additional training in genetic counseling or high-risk obstetric procedures
• Experience working in busy inpatient and outpatient settings
• Comfort with managing high-volume patient loads (average of 27 patients per day)

Preferred Education and Experience:

• MD or DO degree with valid medical licensure
• Minimum of 2 years of maternal-fetal medicine experience
• Certification or eligibility in fetal medicine

Other Requirements:

• Ability to start coverage as early as August 1, 2026
• Valid medical license in Virginia or eligibility to obtain one
• Willingness to work varied shifts, including clinic hours (8 am - 4:15 pm), with nightly weekday call and 24-hour weekend call
• Estimated credentialing time of approximately 90 days
• Reimbursement for travel, hotel, rental car, and mileage at IRS standard rates
