Flexible Block Scheduling - Ongoing Oncology Coverage in Michigan
Practice Setting
- Dedicated Outpatient setting with a focus on comprehensive cancer care
- Extensive support staff, including 5 APPs on the inpatient team and 5 APPs at the clinic
- Participation and collaboration on a multidisciplinary Tumor Board
Schedule
- Monday through Friday, standard business hours (8a-5p)
- Light call rotation: 1 in 5 call ratio with weekday evening telephone call
- Weekend rounding is supported by an advanced practice provider (APP)
Procedures and Cases
- Perform FNA/Biopsy procedures as required for patient diagnosis and treatment
- Active role in ordering all necessary tests, images, and prescribing medications
- Focus on Adult and Geriatric patient populations
Requirements
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility (within 5 years) in Oncology
- Prefer Active Michigan State Licensure
- Must hold active BLS Certification
- Case log demonstrating experience with FNA/Biopsy procedures is necessary
Credentialing Requirements
- Full credentialing is a 90-day process
