About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for its Client Accounting and Advisory Services (CAAS) department. The CFO will be a key member of the CAAS practice, responsible for managing the firm's financial reporting operations for its outsourced accounting clients. This role involves providing strategic CFO consulting, maintaining budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning resources, and serving as a trusted advisor. The successful candidate will also be involved in mentoring the CAAS team, working cross-departmentally, and contributing to the practice's profitability.

Applicants for the CFO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree, a CPA license, and a minimum of 7 years' of related experience, with at least 3 years' in a supervisory role. The role requires strong business acumen, the ability to engage in strategic client conversations, and a focus on serving privately held owner-managed organizations. The CFO will be expected to promote the business, oversee management reporting and analysis, and ensure the team delivers exceptional client service. Experience with QuickBooks is required, and familiarity with NetSuite and Sage Intact is a plus. The ideal candidate will be a leader who can coach and motivate team members, and who is dedicated to the development and use of best practices within the CAAS department.
