About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief People Officer to spearhead its people and culture functions during a significant period of transformation. The successful candidate will be a strategic and empathetic leader, responsible for developing and executing a talent strategy that aligns with the organization's mission and the evolving needs of the community it serves. This role is pivotal in addressing workforce shortages, adapting to changing service demands, and navigating the complexities of a regulatory environment. The Chief People Officer will be a key member of the executive team, shaping the organizational culture, and ensuring that people practices reflect the values of dignity, equity, and impact.

Key responsibilities for the Chief People Officer include strengthening staff culture, connection, and well-being, aligning the people strategy with organizational planning, leading a comprehensive workforce assessment, modernizing core HR systems, and developing a proactive labor relations strategy. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years' of progressive HR leadership experience, with a background in human services, healthcare, or nonprofit organizations. They should be adept at building and maintaining strong, human-centered relationships, and be committed to fostering a workplace culture that is inclusive, equitable, and supportive. A Bachelor's degree is required, with a Master's degree preferred, and relevant HR certifications such as SHRM-SCP or SPHR. The role demands a visionary strategist who can balance innovative, tech-savvy approaches with a high-touch, human-centric philosophy.
