About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Pharmacy Services to lead and oversee the strategic and operational aspects of pharmacy services across multiple healthcare facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence, compliance with industry standards, and the development and implementation of strategic pharmacy models to optimize operations, cost management, and patient care outcomes. This role involves collaborating with executive leadership to align pharmacy practices with organizational objectives, providing visionary leadership to enhance clinical services, and driving innovation in pharmacy operations.
Key responsibilities for the Vice President of Pharmacy Services include providing strategic leadership to achieve organizational goals, developing collaborative relationships with facility teams, analyzing data for medication management strategies, and leading initiatives to optimize pharmacy operations. The ideal candidate will have a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, be a licensed pharmacist, and have a minimum of 5 years of progressive pharmacy management experience in acute care settings. Executive-level leadership experience, a proven track record in strategic relationship building, and the ability to lead teams to drive clinical and operational excellence are essential. The role also requires strong analytical skills, the ability to manage pharmacy expenses effectively, and a willingness to travel to ensure the implementation of best practices.
