About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) for Behavioral Health. The successful candidate will be a dynamic, passionate, and collaborative leader responsible for overseeing a team of approximately 15 FTEs, including clinical and non-clinical staff, supervisors, managers, and directors. The CAO will coordinate all activities and clinical operations within the ambulatory service areas, establish and monitor behavioral health goals and objectives, and provide administrative leadership guidance for multiple clinical practices. This role requires a leader who can work closely with medical directors, operations leadership, and clinical leads to improve clinic functions, ensure quality patient outcomes, and enhance the patient experience.
Applicants for the CAO position must have a Master's degree in a relevant field, with a preference for additional healthcare or business certifications. A minimum of 5 years' progressive management experience in healthcare, including 3 years at a director level, is required. The ideal candidate will have diverse healthcare experience in both ambulatory and inpatient settings, as well as a background in healthcare strategy, planning, and project management. Key leadership competencies include the ability to lead process change, work effectively with a multidisciplinary team, and possess strong communication and organizational skills. The role demands a leader with clinical and leadership skills across broad healthcare settings, and the ability to develop and implement operating plans while analyzing financial and quality data.
