The Company is seeking a Deputy Chief Financial Officer to play a pivotal role in the stewardship of fiscal resources in alignment with the organization's strategic plan. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Finance team in budget, accounting, procurement, grants, and compliance, with a focus on creating and implementing financial strategies that support effective budget planning and ensure the equitable distribution of resources. This role requires a seasoned finance professional with a strong background in accounting, who can serve as a key advisor to the CFO and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support the organization's mission of providing a world-class education.
Key responsibilities for the Deputy Chief Financial Officer include supporting the development of the annual budget and multi-year financial plans, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and leading the Finance team in all aspects of financial management. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with an MBA, Master's, or CPA designation strongly preferred. A minimum of 5 years' experience in budget leadership and a proven track record of managing a multi-million dollar budget are required, with a preference for those with public sector work experience. The role demands a strategic thinker with excellent leadership, communication, and management skills, who can foster a culture of operational excellence and support the professional development of the Finance team.
