About the Role
Artemis Solutions has partnered with a new Wellness and Longevity medical practice that is seeking a skilled and patient-focused X-Ray Technologist with experience operating DEXA (Dual-Energy X-ray Absorptiometry) equipment to join a growing health, wellness, and longevity-focused organization. This role plays a key part in providing accurate body composition and bone density imaging in a modern, client-centered environment.
This position is ideal for an imaging professional who values precision, patient education, and working in a progressive clinical setting outside of a traditional hospital environment.
Key Responsibilities
Operate and maintain DEXA X-ray equipment in compliance with safety and regulatory standards
Perform body composition and bone density scans with accuracy and consistency
Prepare and position patients properly for imaging procedures
Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and clear communication throughout the process
Follow radiation safety protocols and documentation requirements
Review image quality and ensure data accuracy
Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
Coordinate with clinical and administrative teams for scheduling and workflow efficiency
Assist with equipment quality control and routine maintenance
Educate patients on the imaging process and what to expect
Qualifications
Active X-Ray Technologist certification/licensure (state-specific requirements apply)
Hands‑on experience with DEXA X-ray equipment strongly preferred
Strong knowledge of radiation safety and imaging protocols
Excellent patient interaction and communication skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Experience in outpatient, wellness, sports medicine, or longevity settings is a plus
