NUTRITION OPERATOR (FULL TIME AND PART TIME)
Location: Prisma Health Greenville – 701 Grove Road, Greenville, South Carolina 29605.
Schedule: Full‑time and part‑time; days may vary, 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm. More details will be provided upon interview.
Pay Range: $17.00–$22.29 per hour.
Requirement: Prior customer‑service or call‑center experience is preferred.
Job Summary Responsible for securing patient meal selections and special requests via telephone or face‑to‑face interactions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Follows proper telephone etiquette and procedures with patients, visitors, and healthcare professionals.
Offers alternatives to the menu as allowed on prescribed diets, addressing food allergies, sensitivities, cultural, ethnic, and religious preferences.
Responds to patient needs at all times, resolving concerns or complaints immediately and/or reporting required assistance to a supervisor.
Complies with dietary restrictions on special, modified diets to meet patient needs within diet‑order guidelines.
Interacts with nursing staff to ensure patient diet prescriptions are accurate and food needs are met.
Adheres to facility confidentiality and patient‑rights policies, and follows HIPAA policies and procedures.
Complies with federal, state, and local health and sanitation regulations and department sanitation procedures.
Follows HACCP guidelines when assembling and distributing food supplies to ensure quality and safety.
Completes all daily, weekly, or monthly reports on time as outlined in corporate policies and procedures.
Performs other duties as assigned.
