Seeking a Hepatologist in New Brunswick, NJ.
The Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School seeks to employ a Hepatologist at an open rank. This position offers a dynamic opportunity to provide high‑quality patient care, engage in academic and scholarly activities, and contribute to the advancement of hepatology and gastroenterology services at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at New Brunswick.
The faculty member will work directly with patients to test, diagnose, and treat, and collaborate with primary physicians and other specialists to develop medical strategies. Duties may include:
Comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care for patients with liver‑related disorders and general gastroenterology conditions.
Participating in endoscopic procedures.
Educating and mentoring medical students, residents, and fellows.
Other duties as assigned.
Part of the RWJBarnabas Health System, a $5 billion enterprise caring for ~40% of all NJ residents. To qualify, clinicians and/or physician‑scientists must be board certified or eligible in endocrinology. Rank will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
