Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A temporary opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide leave coverage at an elementary school serving Kindergarten through 4th grade in Springfield, MA. This contract position requires a commitment of 17 hours per week from as soon as possible through February 13, 2026. Key responsibilities include delivering direct speech-language services to students through small group sessions, one-on-one therapy, and within inclusion classrooms. The role involves conducting evaluations for IEP eligibility, participating in IEP meetings, goal writing, and ongoing monitoring and documentation of student progress. Qualifications and experience: Valid SLP certification with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred Experience working as a school-based SLP with elementary-aged children Ability to complete necessary district onboarding requirements prior to starting Strong skills in assessment, intervention, and documentation for educational settings Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working effectively with students, families, and educational staff This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist interested in supporting young learners on a contract basis. Credentialed candidates will be prioritized during the selection process.
