A school-based registered nurse position is available for a K-12 educational setting in Saint Paul, MN. This role involves providing comprehensive healthcare services to students within the school environment, promoting their well-being and supporting their ability to learn. Responsibilities include: Conducting health assessments and screenings for students Administering medications and treatments as prescribed Managing acute and chronic health conditions Responding to medical emergencies and providing first aid Collaborating with educators, parents, and healthcare providers to support student health plans Maintaining accurate and confidential health records Promoting health education and preventive care initiatives within the school community Qualifications: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Minnesota Experience working with children and adolescents preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to handle emergencies calmly and efficiently Knowledge of school health policies and procedures Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Location: Saint Paul, Minnesota Setting: K-12 School Job Duration: Contract for the current school year (CSY) This opportunity offers the chance to impact student health directly in an educational environment, ensuring students have the support they need to thrive academically and personally.
