A Fiberglass Finisher is a key player in troubleshooting any flaws that may happen during the creation of hulls. They will deliver a flawless finished product. Essential Functions

Repairs fiberglass boat hulls, decks, and small parts using spray gun with paint, buffer with wax, polish, compound, fillers, putty, and/or paste Hand tools may include gel-coat spray equipment, grinders, buffer, drill, or other specialty tools and fixtures Understand and follow verbal and written directions Responsible for parts inspection and have an understanding of fiberglass finish or basic use of abrasives Works following specific job instructions, frequently reading and providing verbal and/or written status of part completion Required Qualifications

Must follow all safety and quality standards at all times, including chemical handling standards and PPE (personal protective equipment) Must understand the handling and application of solvents, paints, pastes, putty, and wax along with proper disposal Ability to read and understand blueprints Ability to use hand, and pneumatic tools, buffer and abrasive sanding Ability to work with fellow coworkers in close proximity and in a team environment displaying mutual respect Ability to fluently speak, read, understand, and write English High school diploma or GED required Preferred Qualifications

Two plus years of finishing in the marine industry preferred Fiberglass repair and finishing experience preferred Shifts

This position could be for night shift - Sunday - Wednesday 5:00 - 3:30 am. Overtime frequently required based on business needs. Boston Whaler reserves the right to adjust shifts and times as business needs arise. An hourly premium shift differential is available for employees working night shift. Compensation

The anticipated pay range for this position is $19.00 – $29.42, hourly. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location. Benefits
