Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and experienced
Special Education Teacher (EC–12 certified)

SPED Teacher Key Responsibilities
Manage and lead your assigned classroom
Create and implement lesson plans based on IEPs, BIPs, and supplemental plans
Collaborate with service providers (OT, PT, speech, etc.) to support each student's progress
Participate in ARD meetings and complete required special education documentation
Track and report academic and behavioral data
Maintain student ratios, coordinate daily schedules, and assist with hygiene as needed
Prepare and reset classroom daily; support student arrival and dismissal
Foster a structured, compassionate, and engaging learning environment
SPED Teacher Qualifications
Certified Special Education Teacher EC–12 (Texas)
Experience working with students with autism and/or intellectual disabilities
Strong understanding of IEP/BIP implementation and classroom management
CPR/AED certification and valid Texas Driver’s License required
Passionate, dependable, and aligned with core values such as integrity, growth, and respect

SPED Teacher Physical Requirements
Ability to implement Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (CPI) techniques
Able to lift/move up to 50 lbs (and up to 100 lbs with assistance)
Capable of standing for extended periods, and performing physical classroom duties
Comfortable in high-energy or occasionally high-stress situations
Background check required.
