Production Team Member

Career Opportunity The successful team member will be working a 12‑hour rotating shift and must comply with all safety regulations and practices. WestRock is a team‑based environment. Employees must understand and utilize all safety requirements of job functions, in addition to use all required PPE during job tasks. Employees must follow standard work procedures and safe work practices/procedures.
(New employees commonly earn between $45,000 - $55,000/year with yearly increases)
How You Will Impact WestRock
OCC/Shipping department – operating lift/clamp trucks loading/unloading materials
Paper department – assisting with operations of the paper machine
General Services – mill housekeeping and utility duties
What You Need To Succeed
High School diploma or G.E.D.
Minimum of 2 years full‑time work experience
Proven record of performance
Demonstrate the drive to train and achieve upward progression into various job levels
Capable of working rotating shifts including weekends with a 7‑day long off.
Ability to tolerate various working conditions – heat, noise, inside/outside conditions.
Complete training and learning programs for all positions
Ability to work in a heavy manufacturing setting
Ability to work and communicate effectively in a team‑based environment
Reliable, dependable, and available for work in all areas of the mill
Manufacturing, heavy industrial or Paper Mill Experience Preferred
Additional Information Candidates are required to undergo a drug screening after receiving a conditional job offer, but before starting employment.
