Position Summary We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Part Time Hospital Concierge – TH15 MICU-Day Shift (21 Hours). In this role, the successful candidate will support the patient care activities of the nursing unit through maintenance of patient records, supplies, and the environment; coordinate activities with unit staff and other departments; demonstrate clear, concise, accurate and timely communications with members of the health care team, patients, families and visitors; and incorporate NYU Core Values in all aspects of job performance.

Job Responsibilities

Support the patient care activities of the nursing unit through timely greeting and check‑in of arriving patients;

Coordinate activities with unit staff and other departments;

Demonstrate clear, concise, accurate and timely communications with members of the health care team, patients, families and visitors;

Perform service functions including, but not limited to, triaging/answering calls and assisting with concerns and use of MyWall;

Work under direct supervision and incorporate NYULH Core Values in all aspects of job performance.

Minimum Qualifications To qualify you must have a High school diploma or the equivalent. Competence: Computer literacy including but not limited to keyboard facility, data entry, knowledge of email, use of hospital intranet, multiple telephone line experience and etiquette. Evidence of excellent interpersonal skills, effective communication skills both in person and on the telephone, and creative problem solving.

Preferred Qualifications Clerical, customer service, communications‑related experience desirable. Bilingual desirable.

Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $33.56–$33.56 per hour. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses, incentives, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
