Lead worship for Anaheim campus services, organize volunteers for both worship and tech, and oversee the tech needs of Friends Church Anaheim.__________________________________________ What You’ll Do

Lead

Provide worship leading for Anaheim campus church services and special events. Develop and implement strategy for educating congregation on purpose and theological convictions of worship and worship expression. Coordinate volunteers to ensure audio/worship set-up and tear down for the campus is completed. Oversee and manage the campus audio and tech equipment. Oversee and manage slides and related technical aspects to support worship ministries Social media - keep us relevant and up to date with social media posts and content throughout the week Collaborate

Coordinate with the central campus Music Director for recruiting, auditioning, and scheduling volunteer musicians, and contracting paid musicians. Work with central campus Music Director by charting and arranging music, updating seasonal song lists, obtaining tracks, and supervising rehearsals. Contribute creatively to weekend service planning and overall production by attending and helping to lead aspects of content meetings. Work with Friends Worship for all-church writing projects. Recruit, Train, and Develop

Create a culture of Deliberate Apprenticeship within worship team members by providing mentoring and discipleship through planned Team Nights and individual personal meetings for coaching. Give leadership to audio/visual and service direction volunteers. Be Authentic

Stay engaged in a personal growing relationship with Jesus by embodying our Friends Church ministry values and spiritual practices. Sing and speak from a place of integrity and develop ongoing accountability and mentoring relationships for personal growth and spiritual health. Model humble character to our church and others through your ministry, personal life, and social media. What We’re Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in leading congregation in worship. To direct children’s activities: children’s church, vacation Bible school, children’s camp(s) and periodic events (as appropriate) within the existing vision of the Pastors for Sandy Ridge Baptist Church. Must be a member of Sandy Ridge Baptist Church Must be in complete agreement with the Constitution, Bylaws, the 2000 Baptist Faith and Message, and the 14 articles of the Nashville Statement Must be a married, male, seminary graduate Must tithe to SRBC by recordable means (envelopes, online, etc…) Work will be between 30-50 hours a week Pay package will be no less than $50,000 annually based on experience Full-time position with performance review at 6 months Campus: Yorba Linda Church Size:

The Junior High Director/Pastor is a relational leader and disciple-maker who builds and leads a thriving ministry for 6th–8th grade students. This leader empowers volunteers, equips parents, and creates environments where students encounter Jesus, build meaningful friendships, and take steps to live out their faith. Partnering with the NextGen team, the Junior High Director/Pastor helps shape a holistic discipleship strategy that inspires students to gather in worship, grow in groups, and go serve the world. What You’ll Do

Lead with Vision and Strategy

Partner with NextGen leadership to align junior high ministry with the mission of Friends Church. Provide direct leadership and support for all aspects of JHM programming, camps, spiritual formation, and events. Build a culture where every student has a caring leader and a safe place to belong. Champion Student Discipleship

Oversee weekly junior high gatherings (weekend services, Wednesday nights, and small groups), ensuring excellence in teaching, worship, small groups, and hospitality. Develop and implement a discipleship pathway that helps students grow in Christ and take ownership of their faith. Provide pastoral care to students and families, especially in times of need, while connecting them to additional resources as appropriate. Develop and Empower Leaders

Recruit, train, equip, and shepherd volunteer leaders, cultivating a strong leadership culture. Create leadership pathways for students and volunteers to step into greater responsibility. Provide regular training, coaching, and encouragement for leaders to thrive in ministry. Oversee, develop, and coach the Junior High Associate, providing clear direction, ongoing feedback, and opportunities for growth. Ensure their work is aligned with the overall vision and goals of the Junior High Ministry. Engage and Partner with Parents

Build meaningful relationships with parents, offering encouragement, communication, and support. Create opportunities and resources that help parents disciple their junior high students at home. Partner with the NextGen and Discipleship teams to connect parents into groups and broader church community. Create Life-Changing Experiences

Lead the planning and execution of camps and outreach opportunities. Provide safe, fun, and spiritually engaging experiences that help students connect deeply with God and one another. Champion service opportunities that help students live out their faith locally and globally. Collaborate Church-Wide

Work closely with NextGen, Hospitality, and discipleship teams to ensure alignment with the broader church vision. Participate in and contribute to church-wide events (Family FunFest, Tree Lighting, Baptism Celebrations, etc.). Partner with Friends Christian Middle School to build bridges of influence with junior high students and families. What We’re Looking For
