Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a diverse range of alcoholic and non‑alcoholic beverages with precision and flair.

Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a memorable and enjoyable experience.

Demonstrate expert knowledge of whiskey varieties, including origins, flavor profiles, and pairing suggestions.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including stocking inventory and managing supplies.

Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring responsible service of alcohol at all times.

Collaborate with colleagues to uphold Odyssey's reputation for excellence and hospitality.

Provide assistance to other team members and perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

2 or more years of experience as a bartender in a high‑volume establishment

Strong knowledge of whiskey and other spirits, with a passion for mixology.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.

Attention to detail and commitment to delivering exceptional service.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

TIPS or similar certification (can obtain upon hire)

Physical Demands

Regular lifting, moving and carrying of food items, furniture, garbage etc. weighing up to 30 pounds across the restaurant

Regular and prolonged standing and walking inside and outside the restaurant during a 6‑8 hour shift with appropriate breaks

Regular ascending/descending stairs

Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers

Frequent use of hand to finger motions, handle or feel objects, reach with hands and arms
