Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Special Education teaching opportunity is available at an elementary school serving young learners aged 3 to 4 years with disabilities. This role focuses on Early Childhood Special Education and includes supporting students with daily living skills such as toileting. The position is based in the Spring, TX area and follows a Monday through Friday, 35-hour workweek schedule. Responsibilities: Deliver age-appropriate instruction tailored to students with disabilities in an early childhood setting Implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs Support students with toileting and other essential daily living activities Collaborate with school staff and families to promote student development and progress Maintain accurate records and provide regular updates on student outcomes Qualifications: Valid Special Education Teacher License EC-12 is required Experience working with young children with special needs, preferably ages 3-4 Strong understanding of Early Childhood Special Education practices and strategies Ability to manage classroom responsibilities with professionalism and compassion Submitted references (at least one) with contact information are needed prior to placement Location: Elementary campus in the Spring, TX area Contract Details: Full-time, 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday Position duration through the current school year This role provides the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on childrens early learning and development in a supportive school environment.
