Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Provide specialized Early Childhood Special Education teaching for young learners aged 3-4 years at an elementary school located in Richmond, TX. This full-time contract position involves working Monday through Friday, supporting students with disabilities, including practical care responsibilities such as toileting. The role requires collaboration within a dedicated educational team focused on delivering tailored support and fostering developmental progress for students with special needs. Key Responsibilities: Deliver specialized instruction and support to early childhood students with disabilities in a classroom setting. Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs. Collaborate with school staff, therapists, and families to ensure consistent developmental support. Manage daily care routines, including toileting assistance, ensuring a safe and compassionate environment. Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed to meet educational goals. Qualifications & Experience: Valid Special Education Teacher License covering Early Childhood through Grade 12 (EC-12). Experience working with early childhood students with disabilities, including physical care components. Strong understanding of special education teaching strategies and compliance with relevant regulations. Ability to maintain professionalism and patience in a dynamic classroom environment. Successful candidates must provide at least one professional reference prior to placement. Location: Elementary school in Richmond, Texas. Contract Details: Full-time position, 35 hours per week (Monday through Friday). Contract duration aligned with the current school year.
