Assistant Bread Baker – Kneaders Bakery & Cafe
We are looking for a talented part‑time Assistant Bread Baker who is passionate about food quality, customer service and community.
Responsibilities
Assist in baking a variety of artisan, sweet and seasonal breads using whole ingredients.
Lift and mix dough, flour and supplies up to 50 lbs. and stand for long periods.
Follow recipes, pay close attention to detail and create one‑of‑a‑kind breads.
Work through change, stay flexible, keep a close eye on what’s cooking.
Shift availability: afternoons and evenings, 11 am–7 pm; Sunday shift when store closed; holiday seasons may flex into overnight shifts.
Qualifications
Large‑scale baking/pastry experience preferred but not required; willing to train the right person.
Attention to compliance with local, state and federal regulations for food handler and sanitation standards.
Formal baking/pastry education is a bonus.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Schedule availability: afternoons/evenings only.
