About the Role You are an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk with a keen eye for detail. Join our fast‑paced, high‑growth construction environment to manage accounts payable operations.

Base pay: $20.00/hr – $25.00/hr.

Contract position. Seniority level: Director.

Responsibilities

Managing all facets of the accounts payable function, including invoice processing, payment processing, and record keeping.

Ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and purchase orders.

Reconciling vendor statements and resolving any discrepancies or issues.

Maintaining vendor relationships by responding to inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

Preparing and processing electronic transfers and payments.

Implementing and maintaining systems, procedures, and policies to ensure adherence to company guidelines.

Assisting with month‑end closing procedures and audits as needed.

Providing support to the consulting team and other departments as required.

Using QuickBooks software to track and manage financial transactions.

Qualifications

A minimum of 3 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role, preferably within the construction industry.

Proficiency in QuickBooks is a must; experience with other financial software is a plus.

Strong understanding of accounting principles, data entry, and the ability to handle complex financial records.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with vendors and internal teams.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
