Job Summary Bahnson Mechanical Systems, part of the EMCOR Group, is seeking a Sheetmetal Foreman with extensive commercial experience to lead our team on various projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in sheet metal work, be proficient in reading blueprints, and have the leadership skills necessary to guide a team effectively.

Key Duties

Oversee and coordinate installations on commercial job sites, ensuring projects meet company quality and safety standards

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project specifications to guide installation procedure

Utilize 2-D and 3-D modeling software to review and understand models/BIM drawings

Collaborate closely with Superintendents and Project Managers to ensure timelines and budget goals are met

Conduct inspections and quality checks to ensure installations meet industry and company standards

Compile lists of material and equipment needed, maintain assigned tools, and issue safety equipment for job site

Lead, supervise, train and support crew members on projects while maintaining high productivity and morale

Monitor jobsite to ensure a safe work environment and report any safety violations to safety supervisor

Other duties may be assigned as needed

Preferred Qualifications

5+ years of industrial sheetmetal experience

3+ years of leading construction teams

Experience supervising and installing sheet metal, duct systems, piping systems, and refrigeration projects

Experience with mechanical, refrigeration, steam, and condensate systems

Valid driver’s license with insurable driving record

Proficiency with electrical and manual tools

Experience operating safety equipment and using safe construction work habits

Strong safety and quality standards in a team environment

Ability to take on additional responsibilities and manage priorities with minimal guidance

Strong mechanical aptitude, openness to learning

Bilingual Spanish/English a plus
