Role Purpose This role is responsible for the safe and efficient repairing and rebuilding of airport service vehicles, including support trucks, stationary carts, tankers and hydrant trucks. You will inspect and identify defective or broken parts and perform repairs on gas/diesel engines, hydraulic, electrical, fueling and mechanical systems. The maintenance team ensures our aircraft services team can operate effectively by providing preventive care and timely repairs, following established procedures and protocols.
What You Will Be Doing
Inspect and identify defective or broken parts on vehicles and repair gas/diesel engines, hydraulic, electrical, fueling and mechanical systems.
Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual quality control checks on refueling equipment and maintain related records.
Drive and operate refueling equipment vehicles.
Provide preventive care to equipment to keep aircraft services operating effectively.
Maintain a safe and secure work environment in accordance with local health, safety and security policies.
Hydrate electric equipment according to the Hydration Schedule.
Repair all non‑motorized equipment.
Program and understand the functions of the Rapid Charger, including the Battery Monitor and Identification Device (BMID).
Repair and replace all tires and wheels.
Perform accident inspections on involved equipment.
Report all accidents to shop supervisors and managers.
Answer all radioed repair calls on the ramp.
Safely operate all vehicles and Ground Support Equipment (GSE) and perform Daily Equipment Checks (DEC’s).

What We Are Looking For
Must have maintenance experience.
Coursework in diesel mechanic.
Must be 18 years of age.
Must possess a valid US driver’s license.
Must have authorization to work in the USA.
Must pass pre‑employment drug screen.
Ability to proficiently read, write and speak English.
Must be comfortable lifting/moving 70 lbs.
Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Must be comfortable working in all weather conditions.
All mechanics may perform duties of other positions as needed by operational demand.
Must obtain and maintain all required Airport Badge.
Must have a High School Diploma, GED, or one to three months of related experience/training, or an equivalent combination.
